Hosta 'Academy Grins'
 

Registered by Steve Chamberlain of New York in 2008, this small size (8 inches high by 18 inches wide) cultivar is of unidentified parentage. The leaves are medium blue-green with a yellow to white marginal variegation. Its foliage is slightly rippled, slightly cupped, ovate and dull on top. Pale purple, striped flowers bloom from mid-July into August on scapes up to 26 inches tall.

According to the registration materials: "...small mound like hosta with clean yellow edge, extended bloom season...margin whitens through season."
