This cultivar is a sport of H. 'Dark Star' which was registered by Steve Chamberlain of New York in 2015. It is a medium size plant about 16 inches high by 40 inches wide with medium blue-green foliage. The leaves are broadly ovate, slightly wavy and slightly shiny on top. Medium lavender flowers with pale purple stripes bloom from mid-July into August. It sets seeds but their viability was not known at the time of registration.
