This plant is a seedling of an H. 'Sieboldiana' seedling originated by Dr. Charles Purtymun at Walden West Nursery of Oregon and registered in 1999. It forms a giant size hosta about 29 inch high with a spread of 61 inches. In July, pale lavender flowers bloom from H. montana -like buds.
