This hosta was originated by Dr. Charles Purtymun at Walden West Nursery of Oregon and was registered by on his behalf by Kevin Walek (Hosta Registrar) in 2009. It is a rare hosta which forms a medium size (12 inches high by 20 inches wide) mound and has thick, blue-green foliage. Its leaves are deeply cupped, heavily corrugated, dull on top seedling and nearly round. Near white flowers are borne from late June into July.
