Dr. Charles Purtymun of Walden West Nursery of Oregon originated this cultivar of unidentified parentage which was registered by Peter Ruh of Ohio on his behalf in 2008. It forms a giant size plant about 34 inches in height with a spread of 78 inches. The blue-green leaves are nearly round in shape and the plant bears flowers from late June into July.
