This plant, a hybrid of H. 'Aspen Gold' × H. 'Golden Chimes', was originated by Dr. Charles Purtymun and Jay Hyslopen-pollinated seedling en-pollinated seedling of Walden West Nursery of Oregon. Registered in 1999, it forms a 14 inch (medium size) high mound with a diameter of about 40 inches. Whitish flowers bloom in late July.
