This medium size hosta with chartreuse colored leaves and green marginal variegation was registered by Dennis Savory of Savory's Gardens in Minnesota in 1991.

It is a seedling of H. 'Aspen Gold' which is often described as "Tokudama-like" according to The Hosta Handbook by Mark Zilis (2000). It has a thick substance, heavily corrugated leaves and white flowers.
