This cultivar was registered in
1997 by Peter Ruh of Ohio. It is a medium size plant that changes from gold in the spring
to green as the summer progresses. Medium purple, bell-shaped flowers bloom
in August. According to
The Hostapedia by Mark Zilis (2009), "Its foliage shape, wide, flat petioles and
bell-shaped, purple flowers in August show the relationship
between 'Golden Plum' and 'Decorata'."
