this large size (22 inches high by 42
inches wide) cultivar is a seedling of H. 'Blue Umbrellas'. It has blue-green foliage with moderately
rippled margins. The leaves are nearly round, slightly
shiny on top, slightly folded and moderately corrugated.
Its bell-shape flowers have petals that alternate
between pale lavender and white with lavender stripes.
They bloom from late June into July on scapes 22 to 33
inches tall. The
registration materials state: "...Very large with
slightly shiny, round, heavily corrugated leaves with
tall scapes bearing bell shaped flowers...darkens
somewhat throughout the season."
