Klotz of Dogtown Farms in Ohio in
2018,
this cultivar is a medium size (12 inches high by 24
inches wide) seedling of H. 'El Niño'. The dark
green foliage has a white medial (center) variegation
with purple specks on the underside of the petioles. Its
leaves are relatively flat, ovate and dull on top. Pale
lavender flowers bloom from August into September on scapes only 6 to 7 inches tall. It sets seeds but their viability was not
known at the time of registration.
The registration materials state: "...Dark green
with narrow white center and narrow strip of lime green
between the two. Flowers are held on very short scapes
beneath the foliage..."
