this upright growing, large size (19 inches high by 32
inches wide) cultivar is a seedling of H. montana 'Aureomarginata' ×
H. 'Paradigm'. It is a medium green hosta with
broadly ovate foliage that is moderately rippled, deeply
cupped with widely spaced veins and very shiny on top.
The pale lavender flowers have alternate petals that
have white surrounding the pale lavender center and
translucent margins. They bloom from late July into
August It sets seeds but their viability
was unknown at the time of registration. The
registration materials state: "...Very shiny
heart-shaped leaves are cupped and rippled with widely
spaced veins...darkens slightly throughout the season." |
