fast growing, miniature size (4 inches high by 10 inches
wide)
cultivar is of unidentified parentage. It is a medium
green hosta with yellow marginal variegation which turns
white as the season progresses.
The leaves are lanceolate, moderately folded and slightly shiny on top.
Its petioles have the same marginal coloration as the
leaf blades. Pale purple, spider shaped flowers with
white throats bisected with purple stripes bloom from
mid-July into August on scapes 12 to 18 inches tall
followed by viable seeds.
The registration
materials state: "...Small to miniature clump of
thin pointed medium green blades are highlighted with
rippled yellow margins in the spring that turn white
later...yellow margins turn white later." |
