This cultivar is a sport of H. rectifolia which was registered by Deb Abrams of New York in 2010. It is a medium size plant about 14 inches high by 23 inches wide with medium green foliage that has a narrow, white marginal variegation. The leaves are slightly rippled, slightly wavy and slightly shiny on top. Medium purple, tubular flowers with stripes bloom from mid-July into August.
