Registered by Don Dean of Minnesota in 2010, this
upright growing cultivar is a sport of H. 'Solar
Flare'. It is a giant size
hosta about 28 inches high by 62 inches wide with medium
blue-green foliage that has a golden yellow marginal
variegation. The leaves are broadly ovate, moderately
corrugated, moderately folded, heavily rippled and has a
glaucous bloom on top. Near white flowers with a pale
lavender center and narrow translucent edges bloom from
June into July on scapes up to 38 inches tall. According to the registration materials: "...non-scorching, gold edged blue,
in giant class with wavy edge...edge
brightens as season progresses..."
